| From Art to the Environment, from Gardening to Shakespeare, CLE offers something for everyone! During the summer CLE enriches and entertains hundreds of people in myriad classes and lectures including the ever popular cooking, bridge, Middle East studies, art, music and travel. |
CLE is proud to offer an eclectic variety of courses, lectures and events throughout the summer season, May through September. Working with acclaimed presenters, including professors from Western Carolina University and other southeastern universities, we present experts on a wide-ranging variety of interests. Our Members are our most valuable asset at CLE! They are not only patrons of our courses, lectures and events, they help in planning the curriculum, coordinating and facilitating the many courses, and promoting our organization throughout the Highlands area.
